The Story
Straight Flex Wheels are designed for use with intake systems, conveyor systems, and shooter mechanisms.
Made from a custom, high-strength silicone rubber compound, these wheels offer superior performance compared to other flexible or compliant wheels commonly used in FRC and FTC robots.  They come in four diameters, each available in three durometers: Soft (30A), Medium (45A), Hard (60A). The option of different durometers allows you to customize the traction and compliance of your mechanism for optimal performance.
The 1-5/8" and 2” diameter wheels have a 9mm hex bore designed to be stretched onto a standard 1/2" hex shaft. Larger wheels, 3 inches and above, have a 1-inch bore that can be stretched over a MotionX Hub, allowing them to be driven by a hex shaft. This larger bore design also enables you to stretch these wheels over a Round Roller tube to create a strong and lightweight roller.
